Beginners' Classes

Classes are back and running!
PLEASE NOTE - No class on Mon Jan 23 or Thurs Jan 26
Join in any beginners class at any venue any week!
Classes are 7-8pm at the following venues.
Mondays in East Fremantle
House Studio, 42 Fortescue St
Tuesdays in Applecross
Tivoli Theatre, 2 Kintail Rd
Thursdays in Leederville
Yugal Club, 228 Oxford St
No bookings, experience or partner needed.
Just turn up 10 minutes before your first class to register your name and details.
Wear comfy flat shoes and bring $15 cash for the class.
All are welcome, so come and try a fun Lindy Hop class near you!

SWING OUTS INTENSIVE! - Saturday 11 February, 10am-12noon
Learn or improve your swing outs - the key move in Lindy Hop! This class will help you understand body positioning, flow and timing, and connection to your partner. This knowledge will also help you dance all the other cool moves in the Lindy Hop repertoire!
Date: Sat Feb 11
Time: 10am-12noon
Venue: Sophie’s studio, 42 Fortescue St, East Fremantle
Cost: only $25 (you can pay cash on the day)
Class size: 6 couples only, so book early!

BLUES MAGIC! blues dance workshop
Saturday 11 February, 2-4pm
Blues dancing is growing in popularity, and the reason is that it is fun!! Plus the slower music offers an enjoyable contrast to the faster tempos in traditional Lindy Hop dancing.
Date: Saturday Feb 11
Time: 2-4pm with dancing afterwards
Venue: Ardross Scout Hall, drive down laneway near 41a McCallum Crs, Applecross.
Fee: $30 for the 2-hour session (paid on the day).
Level: Open class. No experience/partner required.
